Maddie & Angel the Dog needs a home
Maddie and Angel are bonded females who have been in the same home together for several years, so they would ideally be adopted out together. They are extremely friendly with people and would happily lick your face for as long as you’d allow! They both love to snuggle with people and actively seek out attention and petting. Angel likes to go under a blanket next to her person while Maddie prefers to stay on top of the blanket so she’s aware of everything happening in the house. Most of the time these girls get along with the other IGs in their foster home, but they can be protective of their space and food, particularly Angel. Maddie is a foodie and eats quickly then will try to eat others’ food if she’s allowed. Angel eats slowly and sometimes needs someone to sit with and encourage her, and no other dogs can be nearby. With frequent trips outside and a consistent schedule, they have made excellent progress with their potty habits in a short time in foster care. It’s been too cold to spend much time outside, but they have shown some playful tendencies and Angel enjoys squeaking, carrying around, and fetching toys. They would do best in a home without children due to their protective nature. Maddie & Angel are crate trained and stay in their individual crates next to each other both at night and when their foster family is at work. Both girls have had recent dentals but will need a home to do daily brushing. Angel reportedly had one seizure in a 3 year span at her previous home. They are spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventative.
